John Goldacre | Managing Director
John Goldacre brings a wealth of business experience to GoldAcre Estates, with a distinguished international career spanning many years in the commercial sector at both the UK and Spain, working for several large Multi National Companies.
For the past 25 years, John has been immersed in the real estate industry, living and working in the Canary Islands and Mainland Spain, where he has successfully helped build companies selling properties across the region.
Since starting GoldAcre Estates in 2005 John’s vision for GoldAcre Estates is to create a family-oriented business, staffed by a team of specially selected professionals who share his commitment to providing clients with a safe and enjoyable property purchasing experience. Artemis Anagnostopoulou | Director
Originally from Patras, Greece, Artemis Anagnostopoulou pursued her passion for tourism by obtaining a B.A. in Tourism from Bournemouth University in the UK. With extensive experience in Spain’s tourism and real estate industries, Artemis moved to the Canary Islands 20 years ago, starting in Tenerife before settling in Fuerteventura.
Before helping establish GoldAcre Estates, Artemis played a pivotal role in building one of the region’s largest and most successful real estate agencies. Her diverse skill set includes expertise in property programming, real estate law, and administrative processes, complemented by exceptional general management abilities.
Fluent in Greek, English, and Spanish, Artemis brings a wealth of experience and a multicultural perspective to GoldAcre Estates. Her deep knowledge of the Fuerteventura real estate market and her commitment to excellence ensure that clients receive unparalleled service and support.

Alexander Goldacre | Sales Director
Alex Goldacre has been an integral part of GoldAcre Estates since its inception in 2005, joining the team at the invitation of his father, John Goldacre. Alex worked his way through the company, learning every aspect of the business from listing properties through to Sales management.
After completing his education in Gibraltar, Alex pursued Spanish studies at Salamanca University to enhance his bilinguality a skill that has provided him a competitive advantage. During his studies he gained to hit the ground running and was able to deal with anything that came his way.
In 2008 Alex took a brief sabbatical to earn his yacht master certificate, spending the better part of 2008 and 2009 working on luxury 5-star yachts. This experience honed his skills in high-end client services and attention to detail.
Following on from his stay away from the island, Alex came back and moved into a senior property consultant position leading the list department after looking after all aspects of the business and working even closer with the main Directors of GoldAcre Estates. This experience prepared him well for the coming years moving back into GoldAcre Estates firstly as a Senior Property Consultant and then moving into the Sales Director role taking on a bit more responsibility within GoldAcre Estates.
Now after many years back with the GoldAcre Estates team, Alex is dedicated to helping clients find their dream homes in the sunny paradise of Fuerteventura. His deep knowledge of the local real estate market, combined with his commitment to exceptional client service, makes him a valuable asset to both the company and its clients.
During the years, Alex has found not only a great passion for Real Estate but has also found his perfect 'other half' and now has a young family which includes, the perfect wife, daughter and son along with their 3 dogs which makes a very full household!

Nicolas Tan | Business Development Director
Originally from Singapore, Nicolas Tan began his distinguished career in the property sector while studying, more specifically, while doing National Service. Following his service, Nicolas moved to London to further expand his real estate experience, working with leading developers such as Bovis Abroad and the Emerson Group (Orbit Developments), focusing on luxury real estate investments in Portugal and Spain.
Nicolas then transitioned into his family construction management and rental business, where he honed his skills in property management and development. His passion for diving, windsurfing, and marine life inspired his move to Fuerteventura, a location renowned for its stunning coastlines and vibrant real estate market.
With over 30 years of extensive experience in real estate and property development, Nicolas is a cornerstone of the GoldAcre Estates team. His deep understanding of the Fuerteventura property market, coupled with his commitment to providing exceptional service, makes him an invaluable asset to our clients and company.

Ana Belén Rico | Head of Administration
Ana arrived in Fuerteventura from Valdepeñas, Ciudad Real, a central region of mainland Spain celebrated for its wine production. In 2003, Ana decided to visit friends on this stunning island and quickly fell in love with its charm, deciding to make it her home.
Although Ana initially studied Oenology, the science of winemaking, she soon decided to change her career path. After 15 years of experience in the real estate sales and administration, Ana has become a respected figure among clients and colleagues in the industry. Her remarkable expertise, combined with her personable and efficient approach, has distinguished her in the Fuerteventura real estate market.

Sara Marcelli | Executive Assistant
Sara Marcelli, originally from Italy, fell in love with Fuerteventura many years ago and decided to make it her permanent home. Her passion for the island’s beauty and lifestyle inspired her to settle here and help others do the same.

Virginia Rodriguez | Marketing Assistant
Virginia Rodriguez was born into a Spanish-German family in South Germany. She lived in Germany for 25 years, where she had her two wonderful daughters, before deciding to return to Spain. After spending a few years in Galicia, she visited Fuerteventura and fell in love with Corralejo, where she has been living since August 2021.
Virginia is bilingual in German and Spanish and holds a degree in translation and interpreting. She has worked in the international industrial fairs in Hannover, presenting her skills in translating technical and bilingual business meetings. Additionally, Virginia has experience in technical translation project management for international companies in the manufacturing industry, as well as digital marketing, social media, and merchandising for an international, modern watch brand and has handled online marketing for several companies in different industries.
Fluent in four languages (Brazilian Portuguese, German, Spanish, and English), Virginia has worked in various fields including translation and interpreting.
Upon her arrival in Fuerteventura, Virginia joined the GoldAcre Estates team as a valued Business Development Assistant for two years. She has since progressed to the role of Marketing Assistant, working with John Goldacre to drive the company’s marketing efforts and strategies. In this role, which she has held for one year, Virginia continually strives for new challenges that allow her to bring her creativity and the company’s image and efforts to the highest level.

Maria Bravo | Business Development Assistant
Maria Bravo, originally from Southern Spain, studied Business Administration and brings a diverse background with experience in the financial, legal, and construction sectors. Alongside her corporate roles, Maria has also worked as a professional translator for companies and individuals.
